How much work are your quiet quotes costing you?

Most quotes that go quiet are never followed up, and some of them would have said yes. Put in your own rough numbers to see the work you could be winning back each month. The figures below are an example painter until you change them.

10% (about 1 in 10)
How many of the quiet quotes a day 3 and day 7 nudge turns into a yes. 1 in 10 is a cautious starting point.

Profit on that work$0
Extra work over a year$0

This only counts quoting. Invoicing, chasing and tidy accounts are on top.

How this works it out

Jobs won back = quotes a month × the share nobody follows up × the extra share a follow-up wins. Extra work = those jobs × your average job. Profit = that work × your profit on a typical job. Over a year = the monthly figure × 12.

These are estimates from what you put in, not a promise. Back Pocket Office plans: Pocket $595 a month (up to 20 quotes and invoices), Office $995 (up to 50, quotes usually within the hour, plus tidy accounts with bookkeeping in Xero or MYOB) and Head Office from $1,495 (for businesses on Tradify, ServiceM8 or Fergus). NZD plus GST, plus a one-off setup and onboarding fee of one month’s fee (up to $995).
